Motiver ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, ​Motiver ("App").
Use of ​Motiver Platform
By downloading and using the ​Motiver App, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use a compiled code copy of the mobile software for your personal use on a device that you own or control. You agree not to:
- Modify, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the App.
- Rent, lease, loan, resell, sublicense, distribute, or transfer the App to any third party.
- Make copies of the App.
- Remove, circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App.
- Delete any copyright or other proprietary rights notices.
We may automatically upgrade the version of the App you are using. You consent to such automatic upgrades and agree that this Privacy Policy applies to all such upgrades.
Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you create an account with ​Motiver, we may collect personal information such as your first and last name, email address, and payment information when you sign up for our premium services.
Device Information
We collect information about your device, including hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Log Information
When you use our services, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:
- Device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, and referral URL.
- Internet Protocol (IP) address.
AI Interaction Data
We collect and store data when your child or someone is using the AI feature to interact with the AI voice assistant. This is done so the AI can remember their conversation for personalized interaction with the AI. We may also use the data to train our AI model to provide better performance.
AI Interaction Data Retention
All conversation transcripts will be stored as long as your subscription remains active. In the event of subscription expiry, the transcripts will be retained for 30 days, after which they will be permanently deleted from our servers. This ensures your data is protected and managed in compliance with our data retention policies.
Feedback Data
Motiver enables you to give feedback on AI-generated content. By providing feedback, you grant us permission to access and review the conversation between your child and the AI. This conversation data may be used to improve and train our AI models, enhancing their performance and capabilities. All data we receive for training purposes will be anonymized to ensure the privacy of your child and compliance with our privacy standards.
How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- Develop new services.
- Provide personalized content and information.
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our services.
- Process and complete transactions.
Sharing of Your Information

You can control your ​Motiver alerts by visiting “Settings” within the mobile app. You may also update your personal information by accessing your account settings. Service-related emails are necessary for the administration of the ​Motiver service and you may not opt-out of these emails.
Children's Privacy
Motiver is intended for use by parents and guardians to monitor their children’s activities. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at ​support@motiver.ai.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device.
